Double and warm up your inks with Sandy Beach!

Hello and welcome!

Today, Melanie Muenchinger is back with a brilliant video for you!

In this video, Melanie shows you how layering the light golden tone of Gina K. Designs Sandy Beach ink over any stamped image will give you a completely new, warmer color.

This yellower tone can give a brighter, more saturated hue a more subdued feeling, a sweet pastel, a more sophisticated look, or lend itself, especially to vintage, nature, or masculine projects.

She demonstrates with the bold flowers in her Pressed Flowers 2 stamp set which has gorgeous year-round florals for all occasions. This set also has coordinating dies.

Use the MISTI for accurate two-step stamping, or achieve the same look with acrylic blocks. The clear photopolymer makes it easy to line up. Her sample sheets with 10 current colors and the warmed up versions are stamped with the border stamp from her Lots of Letters stamp set.

I think you’ll find this beautiful neutral pad is a must-have addition for your toolbox and hope you will experiment with other colors you have to extend your color palette and stretch your crafting dollar.

Finally got to watch the video. Tons of possibilities. Thanks so much Melanie! Sandy Beach is one of the only colors of GInaK that I do not have. I am thinking that I will try this but with the Slate but stamp off once before layering?

Melanie, I never would have thought about using Sandy Beach on top of another color like this. Love the soft tone that it turns out to be.
