Ink Blending with Colored Pencil Accents
Wednesday, August 21, 2019 26Welcome Back!
Today, I have a new video for you. This is a quick and easy technique that looks much more complicated than it is! I created some cards using simple ink blending with the Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brushes and then accented the images with Prismacolor Pencils. For these cards, I used the Wrapped in Love stamp set from the Pop-Art Flowers kit.

For the Blue card that I show in the video, the Aquamarine and Kelly Green Prismacolor Pencils along with Ocean Mist Ink for blending.
For the Yellow Card, I used the Sweet Corn ink and then added some Goldenrod and Kelly Green Pencil detail.
And for the Pink card, I used Innocent Pink ink along with the Henna and Kelly Green pencils.
I love how different each one looks, especially the greens when colored over the blended ink.

I found a great deal on Prismacolor Pencils. Today, they are $89.07 (That’s on .59 cents a pencil!) This price is for the entire collection! You can find them HERE
I also LOVE this pencil sharpener. It’s important to have a good point on your pencils and this sharpener never breaks my pencils so it’s my go to. It has a metal component inside instead of plastic and it works so well!
