Single Layer Fall Card with Masking

Good morning!

Today, Karen Hightower is here on the blog with a new card project and video for you. She is showing you how to do this beautiful single layer fall card using a masking technique.

From Karen

I shared a similar card in our Facebook group and many of our members asked if I could do a how-to video. In this video, I show you how to use masking paper to create a single layer look that appears as though there is more than one layer. This is a quick and easy technique and one I hope you’ll try! 🙂

Here is an upclose look at Karen’s latest card:

Stamp Set – Autumn Wishes

Pure Luxury Card Stock – White Heavy Base and (For the Inside) Layering Weight White, & Prickly Pear

Premium Dye Ink – Dark Chocolate, Warm Cocoa, Fresh Asparagus, Cherry Red, & Prickly Pear

Masking Magic

Connect Glue

Foam Squares

Life Changing Blender Brushes

Card Measures 4 1/4″ X 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and folded in half

Enjoy today’s inspiration and Happy Stamping!

Love, love, love this card. I thought I bought what I needed to make it, but the stamps You mentioned in the video do not match the stamps I bought in the Autumn Wishes set. I know you mentioned this was previously a kit. Are the stamps shown in the video available for purchase? Sorry, I’m a bit confused. Thanks

Yes, the set from the video is a Gina K. Designs stamp set called Autumn Wishes. Different from the Thermoweb set. Here is the link to the video stamp set:
