Masked Hearts – Cutting your own Mask with Masking Paper
Wednesday, February 5, 2020 9Welcome Back, it’s great to see you!
In today’s video, I will show you how to create a simple mask with scissors and masking paper to create these cute little heart cards. Customize your own masks using this technique or use dies from your stash to create the perfect openings!
Here is an up close look at my three cards.
For the first card, I blended Bubblegum Pink and Red Velvet to create this look.
For my second card, I blended Sea Glass and Key Lime.
And for my last card, I blended Lovely Lavender with Sea Glass. Who says heart cards all need to be red?
Measurements for all cards:
Card Base- 4 1/4″ X 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4 and folded in half
Black Layer- 3 7/8″ X 3 7/8″
White Layer- 3 3/4″ X 3 3/4″
Greetings from white layering scraps
