Welcome back to another Gina K. Designs challenge! This month, Kim Brown-Blyleven is your challenge hostess and she has a fun challenge for you!
Hi everyone! I am super excited to host this month and I look forward to seeing what everyone creates.
For this month, I am going to challenge you to make a card with a shaped border edge, using dies. The possibilities are endless, because it works for any size or theme of card, and the orientation of the card can be landscape or portrait. Such a simple way to step up the edge of your card!
For this card, I stamped and die cut several flowers and leaves and had them ready to go. Next, I created a slim line sized card and then simply cut 1” off the bottom front of the card. This creates the area you require for your die cut border to overhang. I randomly attached the flowers along that shortened edge. I added a piece of coordinating cardstock on the inside of the card to make the edge ‘pop’ a little more because of the contrast. Then I finished off with a sentiment. Quick and easy!
